On February 11th, I officially qualified to run for Jackson Parish Clerk of Court. For the past 10 years, I have proudly served the citizens of Jackson Parish as a dedicated employee of the Clerk’s Office. During that time, I have worked closely with the court system, attorneys, law enforcement officers, and members of the public in both civil and criminal matters. I have seen firsthand how vital the Clerk of Court’s Office is to the integrity and efficiency of our justice system.
Through my years of experience, I appreciate and understand the significance of the Clerk’s role. The Clerk of Court is more than a title; it is a position of trust, responsibility, accuracy, and accountability. The work requires attention to detail, professionalism, confidentiality, and a deep respect for the law and the people we serve. These are qualities I have demonstrated every day throughout my years at the Clerk’s Office.
I know what the job demands are because I have worked alongside our former Clerk, Laura Culpepper, for 10 years. I understand the procedures, the expectations, and the importance of keeping our office running smoothly and efficiently.
My heart is overwhelmed with gratitude for all the support that has been shown over the last month. Thank you to everyone who has supported, encouraged, and prayed for me along the way! I am excited for the journey ahead!
If elected as your Clerk of Court, I will bring the same strong work ethic, professionalism, and integrity that I have upheld throughout my years at the Clerk’s Office. I will work hard for this parish, protect the integrity of the office, and serve our parish with the dedication and respect it deserves.
I would be honored to earn your support and your vote on May 16th.
