Town of Jonesboro Mayor James “Spike” Harris extends sincere congratulations to all participants who completed the First Annual Financial Literacy Course, made possible through a grant awarded to the Town of Jonesboro by the African American Mayors Association.

“This program represents a powerful step toward building financial knowledge, personal empowerment, and long-term stability for individuals and families throughout our community. Your commitment to learning demonstrates leadership, discipline, and a desire to create a stronger future.
I would like to offer special thanks and appreciation to Jasama Bryant and her team for their exceptional leadership, organization, and dedication in putting this program together. Your hard work made this opportunity possible, and your impact will be felt throughout our town for years to come.
I also extend my gratitude to our outstanding module instructors, Timothy Stewart, Rachael Davis, and Dr. Grady Smith, for sharing their knowledge, experience, and passion. Your willingness to teach and invest in others reflects true service and leadership. Due to the overwhelming success of this program, I am excited to announce that the Town of Jonesboro will host this course again next year. This is only the beginning, and we look forward to helping even more citizens gain the tools and confidence needed to achieve financial independence.
Jonesboro continues to move forward by investing in its people. Congratulations once again to our graduates. Your future is brighter because of the steps you have taken today.”
