The Board of Controls for the Jackson Parish Library (JPL) will hold their regularly scheduled quarterly meeting on Monday, April 20th. The session will take place at 4:30 pm in the McBride Room of the Main Branch, ocated at 614 South Polk Avenue in Jonesboro. 

Expected to be in attendance are board members Paula Essmeier, Judy Cooper, Lisa Nunn, Ann Standley, Paula Jenkins, Robin Tes, Carol Massey (President), Jackson Pariish Police Jury Ex-Officio Lewis Chatham, JPL Director Floyd Knox, Assistant Director Judy Robertson and Jonesboro Branch Manager Angela Walsworth.

The session will begin with the panel reviewing for adoption the minutes from the January 20 board meeting before moving to 2026 first quarter financial and statistical reports. The setting of the next meeting for July 20, 2026 will follow with adjournment for trustee training.
