The Quitman High School Cheer team has a tradition of achieving excellence marks at Cheer Camp that is second to none. At the 2026 Cheer Camp, the QHS cheerleaders continued to shine, bringing home the following awards.

1st Place – Overall Camp Routine
2nd Place – Sideline Cheer
Leadership Award – Voted on by other teams at camp
Top Banana Award – Daily spirit award awarded to the squad that displays the most enthusiasm, leadership, and kindness that day

“I couldn’t be prouder of this team. They represented Quitman so well,” said QHS Cheer Coach Chelsie Burns. “They stayed positive, encouraged one another, worked through challenges, and were always willing to learn, grow, and try something new. Their dedication and attitude made this week so special.”
