Louisiana Tech University held its 2026 Spring Commencement Exercises on May 23rd at the Thomas Assembly Center in Ruston, LA. Included among those who earned their graduation diplomas were five Jonesboro residents and seven from Quitman.

Anna Bougues Recognized at Nursing Pinning Ceremony 

Anna Bougues of Quitman, LA, was one of forty-seven Louisiana Tech University students who received their professional nursing pins in a Pinning Ceremony the evening of May 22, then graduated with an Associate of Science Nursing degree at the Spring 2026 Commencement held on Saturday, May 23, in the Thomas Assembly Center.
