“Today is a great day in Jonesboro!”
That was the message that Jonesboro Mayor J. “Spike” Harris conveyed on June 12th when he informed town residents of the progressive measures that is being taken to improve the town’s infrastructure.
“As your Mayor, I am proud to see progress taking place across our community as we continue investing in the future of our town,” continued Harris. “Crews are actively repairing Gimber and Hickory Streets, the demolition of the old McKinny Store at the corner of Beech Springs and Cedar Street is now underway, and exciting upgrades are also taking place at our Rodeo Arena, including improvements to the grounds, fencing, facilities, and overall appearance.”
“Progress does not happen overnight, but every project completed moves us one step closer to the Jonesboro we all envision. Thank you for your continued support, patience, and belief in what we are building together. Together, we are moving Jonesboro forward.” – Mayor J. Spike Harris
