Jackson Parish 10U Diamond Youth Softball All-Stars Win Pre-District Tournament

**Jackson Parish 10U All-Stars**

The proof is in the pudding! Diamond Youth All-Star teams from Jackson Parish are not only eager for the upcoming District 4 tournament play but also ready, as evidenced by their play in the pre-district warm-up tournaments over the past two weeks.

Last week, it was the 8U and 11U Diamond Youth Baseball All-Stars from Jackson Parish. Joining them as winners of the pre-district tournament “bling” is the Jackson Parish Diamond Youth Softball 10U team, which went undefeated in West Monroe this past weekend against many of the same teams they will face in district play.

Under the guidance of manager Joseph Foster and coaches Kristen Allen and Bethan Gunter, the JP10U softball team players are: Kylee-Ann Allen, Malia Gunter, Lyla Hall, Kaylee Hammons, Caylee Mauthe, Ryleigh Puffer, Kadence Sampey, Natalie Sullivan, Mercedes Taylor, River Waggoner, Mez’Meri Walker, and Brenleigh Whitman.

Diamond Youth Softball District 4 Tournament Schedule

For the first time ever, the Jackson Parish Recreation Department Sports Complex, located at 5254 Hwy 4 East of Jonesboro, will be the host of the All-Star District 4 tournament in all seven of the Diamond Youth Softball age divisions of 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U. Tournament play will take place June 25-28. Jackson Parish will field teams in the 6U, 8U, 10U, and 12U brackets, as shown below.
