Two golf tournaments are on tap for the latter part of the week at the Jackson Parish Golf Course (JPGC), located at 524 Clubhouse Drive in Jonesboro. The first is the Father’s Day Golf Tournament, which will be played on Thursday, June 18th, with the 7th annual Four Corners Global Outreach Tournament scheduled for Saturday, June 20th.

“Tuesday Scramble” Winners Set New Season Best Score

A new season best score was set by the “Tuesday Scramble” winning team of George Pullin, Jase Martin, Mike Cain, Cecil Barham, Cooper Williams, and Josh Williams, who shot a round of 12 under par (24) over the nine-hole layout of the Jackson Parish Golf Course.
Coming in second place with a round of 10 under par (26) was Cody Donaldson, Chris Williams, Hunter Wells, Sony Gill, Dwayne “Snook” Harrell, and Jeff Conville, who took a scorecard playoff over Tommy Cruse, Glen Kirkland, Lucas Shaw, Peyton Mitchell, Bretton Williams, and Josh Johnson. Finishing in fourth place with a 9 under par round (27) was Sam Murphy, Stone Weaver, Roby Surber, David Chestnut, and Rick Brown.
