Registration for Summer Reading Challenge at Jackson Parish Library Still Available

The Summer Reading Program Challenge at the Jackson Parish Library is now in its third week. The good news is it is still not too late to participate. Earn cool prizes upon completion by signing up at either the Jonesboro or Chatham branches. You can also enroll by visiting the Jackson Parish Library website at the following link: https://www.jacksonparishlib.org.

Reading requirements are as follows:

Age Birth to 11: Read a minimum of 15 books
Age 12-18: Read a minimum of 300 minutes
Age 19 and above: Read a minimum of 360 minutes

Wednesday – Friday Schedule

An entertaining schedule is in store this Wednesday through Friday for Summer Reading Program Challenge participants, beginning with Jonesboro Scout Pack 523 being on hand at both the Jonesboro and Chatham branches on June 24th, featuring a program about bees and how to build a home for them. On Thursday, June 25th, tie-dye bandanas will be made at the Children’s STEM Class at the Jonesboro Branch. The week culminates in The Dino Experience at both locations on Friday, June 25th. Times are shown below.
