Jackie Dian Neatherland Sims of West Monroe, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on July 31, 1957, Jackie lived a life marked by strength, kindness, and a deep appreciation of spending time with family and friends. She found joy in fishing, camping, crafting, tending to her flowers, loving The Lord, and always taking time to admire and appreciate the simple wonders of life. She also enjoyed her time working at Frito Lay and was awarded Sales Champion in 2001.

Above all, Jackie was a devoted mother, wife, Nene, sister, aunt, and friend. She shared her love generously and touched the lives of those around her with her caring spirit. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents (Roy Fay and Dorothy Neatherland), baby sister (Jan), and granddog (Pete).

Jackie is survived by her husband of 47 years (Ricky), twins (Ashley and Amber), sons-in-law (Jacob and Manny), her beloved grandson Dylan, and granddogs (Allie, Darlin, Banjo and Liza), Aunt Lawanda Ponder, Aunt Elaine Walker, brothers (Jeff & Joboy) along with many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were enriched by knowing her.

Though she has departed this life, the love, memories, and moments she shared with family and friends will remain forever in their hearts.

A memorial service celebrating Jackie’s life was held at Immanuel Worship & Fellowship in West Monroe, LA on Saturday, July 25th, 2026, under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home
