
The Board of Aldermen for the Town of Jonesboro will hold its first regularly scheduled meeting of the new fiscal year on Tuesday, July 14th. The session that Robbie Siadek, Nia Watkins, Devin Flowers, Robert Hunter, and Tracy Ginn are expected to attend is scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm in the Conference Room of City Hall, located at 128 Allen Avenue in Jonesboro.
According to the stated agenda, once Jonesboro Mayor James “Spike” Harris calls the meeting to order, the panel will be asked to approve the minutes of the previous meeting and to accept the financial information as presented for the month of May.
A vote to approve the Audit Service Contract with Rozier, McKay, and Willis CPA Firm is the next order of business, followed by the panel’s expected adoption of Resolution 2026-016, which pertains to the Millage Rates for 2026. A vote to approve new hires for the Police Department and a discussion about pay increases for Police Officers will follow. The session will close after reports from various department heads are heard, and board members and Mayor Harris make final comments.
