Through a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement (CEA) with the Jackson Parish Police Jury, the Jackson Parish Ambulance Service District (JPASD) invites all who wish to learn basic CPR/AED, stop-the-bleed first aid, and what to do if someone is choking or not breathing to attend a FREE training opportunity on August 17, 2026.

The Basic Life Support (BLS) class, which will provide certification for attendees aged 12 and up, will be held at the JPASD Training Center, located at 115 Watts Avenue in Jonesboro, from 6:00 – 10:00 pm and is open to all who want to be better prepared for an emergency.
