There’s a special group of ladies who have discovered the perfect recipe for friendship: good food, lots of laughter, plenty of visiting and absolutely no business meeting!

The group, affectionately known as the Birthday Babes, is made up of retired ladies, with the exception of one, who meet once a quarter to celebrate the birthdays of those who have birthdays during that quarter. There is no call to order, no minutes to read, no treasurer’s report and, best of all, no reports at all! Just good food, good conversation and good old-fashioned fellowship.

This month, the Birthday Babes gathered at The Green House to celebrate Mary Cryer, Dean Rushing and Carla Smith. The ladies enjoyed their time together, sharing plenty of laughter and stories while celebrating another year of friendship and birthdays.

It’s safe to say the Birthday Babes have their priorities just right-praying and thanking God before they eat, laugh, visit, and celebrate!
