The Jackson Parish Special Education Department is seeking stakeholders to serve on the Jackson Parish Special Education Advisory Committee. The committee meets three times a year at the Student Service Center at 440 Old Winnfield Road, Jonesboro, Louisiana.

Parents of students with disabilities, teachers, staff and community members can apply to serve on the committee. All interested applicants can request a SEAC application by emailing Bonnie Buckelew at bonnie.buckelew@jpsbschools.us or by calling 318-259-8802, ext. 9109. The due date for all applications to be turned in to the Student Service Center is September 25, 2026.
