The Jackson Parish Police Jury held a special-called meeting on August 27th in the Nathaniel Zeno, Jr. Meeting Room of the Jackson Parish Administrative Building in Jonesboro, where the six-member panel of Todd Culpepper (President), Lewis Chatham, Amy Magee, Sheketia Combs, Tarneshala “Niki” Cowans, Regina Rowe, and Keith Burris discussed and acted on six agenda items.
The session began with the jurors agreeing to accept Brad Roller’s resignation as Operations Manager, leading to the accompanying actions of revising the Operations Manager’s job description and title and granting Secretary-Treasurer Nia Evans Watkins permission to advertise for the Operations Manager position (or the revised title). Additional action included the approval to advertise for a Solid Waste General Labor position and call for an election for the District E Constable position.
