With Saturday, September 12th recognized annually as National Police Women’s Day to honor and celebrate the courage, dedication, and contributions of women in law enforcement, Jonesboro Police Chief Israel Smith gave honor to the five women in the Jonesboro Police Department in the following post submitted on Facebook.

Today, the Jonesboro Police Department proudly recognizes the dedicated women who wear the badge and serve our community with courage, professionalism, and compassion.
