The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that, beginning on Monday, September 28th, the LA 810 Bridge over Brown Creek, near Weston, in Jackson Parish will be closed for necessary bridge repairs.

The bridge will be closed approximately 1.5 miles south of LA 4.

The closure is anticipated to last 2 weeks and should be open Friday, October 9, 2026.

Restrictions/Permits:

Total road closure at the specified location. All vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to drive with caution through the construction site and watch for work crews and their equipment.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
