October is traditionally recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month across the nation, and in observance, the Jackson Parish Chamber of Commerce (JPCC) is issuing a challenge to Jackson Parish business owners to “Paint the Town Pink.”

About 1 in 8 women in the United States will develop breast cancer in their lifetime, so in honor and support of those who have gallantly fought the battle and those who are survivors, the JPCC has come up with this creative idea to bring better awareness and show unity in the fight against breat cancer.
