Town of Jonesboro Infrastructure Improvements Continue

The Town of Jonesboro administration continues working hard to improve the infrastructure. Last week, the Town announced that through an $8 million investment, work would begin on the North Pond Wastewater Treatment Plant Renovation Project. This week, the town’s water system is getting a $2 million improvement through a Water Sector Grant.

“These projects will help our town in both infrastructure and economic growth,” said Jonesboro Mayor James “Spike” Harris who also thanked State Representative Jack McFarland for assisting in the effort. “By continuing to improve our water, sewer, and roads, this is going to help bring in new businesses and jobs for our residents.”
