The Jackson Parish Ambulance Service District (JPASD) is the proud recipient of the Rural Clinician Credit Bank Award sponsored by the Louisiana Rural Health Transmission Program (RHTP). The award represents a significant investment in the JPASD EMS workforce and communities of Jackson Parish, as it allows for the recruitment and ability to retain Paramedics dedicated to serving the unique needs of a rural community.
The Louisiana Department of Health provides up to $12.7 million through the Rural Clinician Credit Bank as part of a $37.7 million state initiative to recruit and retain rural health care providers. JPASD was one of 53 rural health care providers to be selected out of 136 total applications.
“We are thankful to announce that we are a recipient of this award. Great things are coming to the Jackson Parish Ambulance Service District.” – JPASD administration
