Jennifer Nicole Shackelford was born on January 5, 1973, and departed this life on October 25, 2026, at the age of 53.
Jennifer will be lovingly remembered by her family. Her memory will live on through the many special moments shared with those she loved and the lasting place she holds in the hearts of her family.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Jamie Blundell; her grandparents, Curmin and Arma Lee Shackelford and Grant and Olline Robinson; and her aunts and uncles, Doyle and Faye Johnson, J. B. and Mercell Browder, Jimmy and Judy Freeman, and Steve Robinson.
Those left to cherish Jennifer’s memory include her loving parents, Curnelious and Sandra Shackelford; her nieces, Leann Sullivan and Bradley, and Katlyn Blundell and Robert; her great-nephew, Brently Blundell; and her great-nieces, Lizzie Kate, Jaymee and Natalie Sullivan, and Harper Garcia. She is also survived by a host of cousins, extended family members, and others who will miss her dearly.
A public viewing will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 29th at the Paradise Funeral Home Chapel in Jonesboro. Her Life Celebration service will begin at 1:00 pm, followed by Interment at Gayla Traina Cemetery in Jonesboro under the direction of Paradise Funeral Home
Jennifer’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Wyatt Manor Nursing Home for the kindness, compassion, and care they provided to Jennifer. Your dedication and support are deeply appreciated and will always be remembered.
Though Jennifer’s earthly journey has come to an end, the love shared with her family and the memories created throughout her life will remain forever in their hearts. If she could talk to us now she would say she’s having the time of her life.
