To know Mama was to know a woman of true kindness and warmth. She loved to talk, share a laugh, and connect with anyone she met. She was just a naturally sweet person who left a lasting impression of love on everyone who crossed her path. During her battle with cancer, Mama showed us what true strength looked like. She was a fierce fighter who never gave up, facing every single day of her illness with incredible courage, bravery, and a spirit that couldn’t be broken.

Above all things, Mama loved her family. Her grandkids were the absolute joy of her life, and she cherished every single moment she got to spend with them. Mama also had a strong, unwavering faith. She carried her Bible with her everywhere she went, holding its words close to her heart as her constant guide and source of comfort. She loved traveling to see the beautiful mountains, where she always enjoyed taking in God’s creation.

She is survived by her loving mother, her daughters, her cherished grandchildren, and her siblings. She is also survived by many dear friends who will miss her every day.

The family wants to say a very special thanks to the nursing staff at Ridgecrest Community and the team at Premier Hospice for the wonderful, tender care they provided to Mama during her final days.
