Lisa Dunlop has released her new book “REMNANTS”

Jackson Parish native Lindsey Dunlop, a mother of two, now living in Atlanta, LA, in Winn Parish, who has more than 17 years of nursing experience and has spent much of her life caring for others, has released a debut book entitled “REMNANTS,” which blends memoir, poetry, letters, and personal reflections that offer an honest look at one woman’s complicated life. The

“REMNANTS” is available in paperback and can be purchased on Amazon. The book is about a woman still making sense of her experiences and willing to let readers see that process. Some pages tell a story; others capture a feeling as it happened.

Drawing from her own life, she writes openly about complicated relationships, motherhood, mental health, loss, and starting over. Her voice is direct and personal, with humor woven into even the difficult parts of her story. She shares the moments she is proud of alongside those she is still working through.

Her mother helped inspire her love of words through childhood trips to libraries and book fairs. Publishing REMNANTS is especially meaningful in her mother’s absence, carrying forward a bond they shared.
