Last year at this time Jessica and Logan Johns became another victim of COVID-19. Thankfully, in this instance no one was ill but because of the fact that Louisiana was in Phase 1 of social gathering mandates, the ceremonial “ribbon cutting” that would denote the grand opening of their new business, J & L Farm Supply, never took place.

This was rectified this past week when friends, family members and distinguished officials of Jackson Parish gathered to help celebrate the one-year anniversary of being in business by having a delayed ribbon cutting. Located at 7035 Hwy 4 East, where Fannin Farm Supply was previously located, a wide variety of products for everyday use around the farm and home, including feed and hardware is offered.
