Weston’s Tolar earns Elite Performer status at LHSAA regional track meet

With a toss of 123″5″ in the Javelin that won the Class B regional track and field meet held in Castor this past week, Mallory Tolar of Weston High School earned Elite Performer status by MileSplit of Louisiana. The distance makes Tolar the favorite to win the Class B title in the LHSAA state track and field meet scheduled for May 6th at the Bernie Moore Complex located on the campus of LSU.

Jackson Parish boasted eight gold medal winners in all at the Class 2A (Jonesboro-Hodge) and Class B (Quitman, Weston) regionals. They include:
