Each month the Jackson Parish Chamber of Commerce honors a member with the Business of the Month award . For the month of May the winner is Bayou Nutritional and Energy. Upon learning of them being selected Shannon McKinney provided the following statement.
“We are happy that we were chosen to be Business of the Month and are so grateful that we are able to serve our community,” said McKinney. “We offer energy teas that help burn calories and boost metabolism and meal replacement shakes. Everything we have is diabetic friendly and contains no sugar.”
Bayou Nutritional and Energy is located at 208 Hudson Avenue next to Salter’s Bus line on the old truck route. Business hours are Monday through Friday 7:00am until 3:00 pm and Saturdays from 8:00am until 1:00pm.
