Surrounded by well wishing former teammates, coaches, friends, family and Jonesboro-Hodge High School administration members graduating senior Yahzmynne Andrews signed a letter of intent to continue her basketball career at Southern Arkansas University Tech.
The first team, 1-2A All-District post player was a four year starter at Jonesboro-Hodge and an integral part of three district championships.
“I am very happy for Yahzmynne,” said JHHS head girls coach Britani Fields. “She has worked hard for this day and is well deserving of the chance to continue her career.”
SAU-Tech is a Division II program located in Camden, AR. The Rockets, under the direction of Aramie Brooks, ended the 2020-21 season with a 12-6 overall record and played in the NJCAA South Central District finals.
