
Jackson Parish E-911 Communication District Board Members Jeff Carpenter, Chief Brandon Brown, Fred Tolar and
David Brown voted to have Director Glen McBride send a confirmation letter to Courtesy Automotive in regard to purchasing a new 2021 truck in the amount of $32,740.33.
The action was taken during the July 28th meeting that was attended by the above mentioned, Administrative Assistant Billy Moore and visitors Alayna Huckaby and Taylor Wall. Additional board members, Sheriff Andy Brown, Police Chief James Harris and Sharon Satcher was absent.
In other business Director McBride stated that the installation of new 911 equipment would be based on the timing of the completion of the new Sheriff’s Office. McBride also recommended that a letter be sent to the highest bidder of the surplus generator that if not picked up in 14 days the bid would be revoked. Acceptance of the 2020 auditor report that had no findings was then done before the meeting was adjourned.
