It is nearing that time when the youth of the parish will be heading back to school once again. As usual there is some certain items that they need to be prepared with. To make things easier for parents the administration of Jonesboro-Hodge Elementary School and Weston High School has released a list of items that depending on what grade the student is entering they will need.
Weston High School
Pre-Kindergarten: Backpack (no wheels), Nap mat, One package of Gallon Ziplock Bags, Two bottles of Elmer’s School Glue (4 ounce size)
Kindergarten: Backpack, Nap mat, Canvas pencil bag, Clorox Wipes
1st – 5th grades: Backpack, Canvas pencil bag, Clorox Wipes
6th – 12th grades: Backpack, Canvas pencil bag, One pack of College Rule loose leaf paper, Earbuds/Headphones
Jonesboro-Hodge Elementary
Pre-Kindergarten: Backpack, Kindergarten mat
Kindergarten: Backpack, Kindergarten mat, Plastic pencil box
1st grade: Backpack, Plastic pencil box, Three (3) Wide ruled composition books
2nd grade: Backpack, Plastic pencil box, Six (6) Wide ruled composition books
3rd grade: Backpack, Pencil pouch, Five (5) Wide ruled composition books
4th grade: Backpack, Pencil pouch, Four (4) Wide ruled composition books, Two (2) Five subject notebooks, Two (2) Earbuds/Headphones
5th grade: Backpack, Pencil pouch, Six (6) Wide ruled composition books, Two (2) Earbuds/Headphones
