Children Events featured at Jackson Parish Library on Wednesday/Thursday

Art classes and story time are on tap for children this coming Wednesday and Thursday at both the Chatham and Jonesboro branches of the Jackson Parish Library.  The Bookmobile will also be at various locations as well. 

Adults also have scheduled events to take advantage of. The Check-Out-Fitness Class is set to begin at 9:00am on Wednesday at the Chatham branch and in Jonesboro, available consultation by appointment with Jeanette White of the Office of Public Health takes place Thursday. Also at the Jonesboro branch consultation with the Disaster Care Management Program will be available on Friday from 9am-5pm.

Wednesday, September 8:

“Toddler Time” at 10:00am (Jonesboro Branch) – Story, Craft, Dancing, Singing and Games
Story – “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle 
Craft – Caterpillar on a leaf 
Check Out Fitness for Adults at 9:00am (Chatham Branch)

Thursday, September 9th:

Play-Grow-Read, Art Class for Children at 4:30pm (Chatham Branch)
Art Class for Children at 4:00pm (Jonesboro Branch) 
Consultation with Office of Public Health by appointment (Jonesboro Branch)
