A benefit Co-Ed softball tournament be held at the Jackson Parish Recreation Department (JPRD) on Saturday, October 16th. The event is scheduled to help defray medical costs for the family of Dawson Griffin who was severely injured in the four wheeler accident this summer that claimed the life of Tucker Wallis.
Deadline to register for the tournament is October 8th and the cost to enter is $200.00 per team. Individual Home Run bands are available for $10.00 each and $50.00 for a team. Boys to girls ratio can be seven boys and three girls or six boys and four girls per team. Concessions will be available as well.

Rules of play are as follows:
50 minute time limit per game
Winning team umpires the next game
No senior or ultra bats allowed
No “frozen” balls allowed
Classic “M” ball to be used for the guys, girls can hit any type ball
