The Jackson Parish Chamber of Commerce (JPCC) showed their appreciation to the Jonesboro Public Works Street Department by providing a lunch to the workers this past Thursday, December 16th. It was this crew that through their effort and tireless hours over the last couple of months that helped Jonesboro return to their claim of being the town with the best Christmas lights display in north Louisiana.
“We are thankful to the street department for their help with the Christmas lights,” said JPCC Director Wilda Smith. “We have received many positive comments this year with many stating that the lights are prettier than they have been in years.”
