The Jackson Parish Watershed District (JPWD)will hold their regularly scheduled meeting at 5:00pm, February 17, 2022, at the Jackson Parish Police Jury Administration Building, located at 160 Industrial Drive in Jonesboro.
Agenda items include proposing to amend the following existing rules:
SEC 3-2 (a) Building Near or on Water Restricted Rules and Regulations
1) Establish maximum total lengths for residential piers, wharves, boat houses, boat docks,
boat slips extending into or onto the waters of Caney Lake in Jackson Parish.
2) Establish maximum total lengths for commercial piers, wharves, boat houses, boat
docks, boat slips extending into or onto the waters of Caney Lake in Jackson Parish.
SEC 3-2 (b) Building Near or on Water Restricted Rules and Regulations
1) Amend previous rules regarding Permit Applications and permitting approval process.
SEC 3-2 (c) Building Near or on Water Restricted Rules and Regulations
1) Amend total lengths for residential and commercial floating piers.
SEC 3-2 (d) Building Near or on Water Restricted Rules and Regulations
1) Amend application forms.
