Saline’s Robinson & Roberts celebrate Senior Night in grand style

The last two home basketball games of the season have brought life lasting memories for Saline’s, Georgia Robinson. Against Dodson, Robinson was the high point scorer and led her team to victory while on the same night was crowned the Saline Homecoming Queen.georgia sr. night
Before the game against Castor this past Tuesday, Robinson was honored on Senior Night and then with just a couple of seconds to go in the Lady Bobcat victory scored a basket to put her over 1000 points in her career.
The Lady Bobcats now turn their attention to the Class B playoffs after a 53-36 loss to Doyline to finish the regular season with an 8-23 overall record and 2-4 slate in district 1B play in Chris Toms first year at the helm.

Bobcat boys keep district title hopes alive

By virtue of the 79-51 victory over Castor this past Tuesday, Saline kept their hopes of claiming a share of the district 1B title alive. The third victory in a row moved the Bobcats to 15-17 overall and 4-1 in 1B play with two non-district games and a showdown with district leader Doyline still to go.
ethan robertsEthan Roberts, who will finish his fine career with over 1200 points, scored 16 to lead three Bobcats who scored in double figures and ten players in all that tallied in the contest. Stephen Brown and Shawn Staggs who have been a force the second half of the season also reached double digits with 13 and 11 points respectively. An additional highlight to the contest was the 8 points scored by seldom used Trey Von Colvin.
