It takes a special dedication to be a student athlete. Hours of practicing your skills and still maintaining excellence in the classroom is achieved only through tireless effort and dedication. Each week the Jackson Parish Hospital is proud to recognize a student athlete from Jonesboro-Hodge, Quitman and Weston High School who select faculty and staff recognized as best portraying what it takes to be productive in their athletic endeavor and academics. 

The honorees for the week of February 6th-13th are:

JHHS – Laniah Walker, Sophomore Cheerleader
QHS – Logan Ponder, Sophomore boys basketball player
WHS – Mitchel Mathews, Junior boys basketball player
