The Jackson Parish Watershed Board announces a special called public meeting to be held at 6:00pm on Thursday, March 3rd in the Sunshine Room of the Jackson Parish Police Jury Administration Building, located at 160 Industrial Drive in Jonesboro.
The meeting will open with the public given the opportunity to express opinions on the four Ordinances shown below that were introduced in the February 17th meeting and are on the agenda to be adopted.
(1) Ordinance 2022.02.01 amending Rules and Regulations section 3-2(a) Providing maximum total length for Piers, wharves, boathouses, floating boathouses, boat slips or any other facilities extending into or over the waters of Caney Lake.
(2) Ordinance 2022.02.02 amending Rules and Regulations section 3-2(b) Permit Applications for Piers, wharves, boathouses, floating boathouses, boat slips or any other facilities extending into or over the waters of Caney Lake.
(3) Ordinance 2022.02.03 amending Rules and Regulations section 3-2(c) Properly mooring or anchoring for floating Piers, docks, fences, boathouses, floating boathouses, boat slips or any other facilities extending into or over the waters of Caney Lake.
(4) Ordinance 2022.02.04 amending Rules and Regulations section 3-2(d) Permit Applications for floating Piers, docks, fences, boathouses, floating boathouses, boat slips or any other facilities extending into or over the waters of Caney Lake.
