Everything from children events, vendor offerings on Main Street, an antique car show and a couple of musical performances will be enjoyed this Saturday on Main Street in Jonesboro as the annual Sunshine Festival will take place.  

The schedule of activities is as follows: 

8:30 AM  – Registration for the antique car show at Jay Mallard Ford10 AM. Children’s parade meeting in front of the courthouse ages 1 to 8 years of age. Prize will be given to the individual with the most decorations reflecting sunshine.
10:00 AM  – Vendors will open on Polk Avenue.
10:00 AM – Bouncy house / slide, sponsored by the Jackson Parish Tourism Board opens.
1 -3 PM – BrainSivils, sponsored by Jackson Parish Library and Jackson Parish Museum  perform in the pocket park on Main Street.
3:00 PM  – Music in the pocket park by Ben Curry & Zack O’Neal.
