During departmental reports at the Town of Jonesboro Board of Aldermen meeting on Tuesday, Jonesboro Police Chief James “Spike” Harris stated the Jonesboro Police Department is seeking a fugitive from justice as a person of interest in regard to a shooting incident.
The person involved is 21year old Jequlian Dewan Thompson of 806 Harvey Place in Jonesboro, LA. He is listed to be 5’6″ and 216 lbs. The JPD asks that anyone who has information as to the whereabout of Thompson immediately call 318 259-2164.
“Per our investigation to a reported shooting during a large outdoor gathering held at Pierre Park in Jonesboro recently. Evidence was gathered that confirmed gunfire erupted between at least two parties at the scene that later carried over to Wilson Street in Jonesboro,” state Harris. “We are now actively pursuing this person of interest who has been identified as being a participant.”
