
The Lady Wolverines used their tremendous depth to take 25 podium (1st, 2nd or 3rd) places and score 32 times in 18 events to claim the district 2B track and field championship. In an incredibly tight battle, the Quitman boys finished in third, just two points behind champion Simsboro and one behind Choudrant but like the girls are poised for a strong regional showing as 17 times the Wolverines had podium placers. Nine times they combined to put two on the podium five times they won first and second and two other times each they claimed first and third and second and third.
Nine district champions were crowned among the two teams, that included seven in individual events and the girls 4×200 and 4×400 relay teams.

Three from Weston wins District Titles
Raelynn Shell and Jalexia Claridy won first place in the Javelin and Shot Put for the Weston girls track team. Sterling Stroud was first in the long jump on the boys side. All three are district 2B individual champions.
All three boys relay race teams finished in second place as well as second place finishers were: Darin Allen in the Javelin. Bronze medal winners were Lexie Millen (Long Jump), Carroll Foshee (Pole Vault, Sklyer Strickland (Triple Jump) and the girls 4×100 Meter Relay team.
