Six from area named Class B All-State by Louisiana Softball Coaches Association

Another undefeated district championship winning season and #5 regular season ranking in Class B has resulted in four Quitman softball players being selected to the Louisiana Softball Coaches Association (LSCA) All State team. Neighboring Saline had two named to the elite squad.

The LSCA was founded in May, 1990 by a group of dedicated high school softball coaches who wanted to devise ways to promote the sport, aid the coaches, and honor the athletes who play our sport. To be eligible for LSCA All State designation, a player must be from a school whose coach is a member of the organization.

Quitman was represented by Cali Deal, Maggie Guyotte, Madeline Vail and Madison Kaye Brymer. Saline had Jordan Williams and Ava Toms selected. For Deal, Guyotte and Williams, whose family has Jackson Parish roots, it is the second straight year to be chosen to the elite team.
