Ty Simonelli from Quitnan, along with Caleb Waters and Davis Tolar from Weston, built such impressive resumes during this past spring that they earned opportunities to continue their baseball careers in college. Each can now add another honor after each have been named as All-Region 2 by the Louisiana Baseball Coaches Association (LBCA). 

Region 2 is comprised of the following parishes: Claiborne, Union, Lincoln, Jackson, Bienville, Red River, Winnfield, Grant and Natchitoches. To be eligible for consideration the coach from the school must be a member of the LBCA. 

After competing as rivals during their high school career, Simonelli, a Class B first team All-Stater and Waters, who earned Honorable Mention designation will be roomates at Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC). Tolar, will take his talents to Central Baptist College in Conway, AR. 

Lincoln Parish gained the lionshare of players named to the elite squad with ten representatives including Batter of the Year, Kaden Bradshaw of Choudrant and Pitcher of the Year, Reid Williams of Ruston High.
