Another structure burned as part of Beautification of Jonesboro Project

Another unsightly and unsafe structure has been leveled as part of the ongoing Beautification of Jonesboro Project. The latest eyesore to be removed was on Walker Road where the Jonesboro Fire Department conducted a control burn bringing down the building to it’s foundation. 

If there is a dilapidated structure you want burned contact the Jonesboro City Hall at (318) 259 – 2385 to have it put on the schedule. Jonesboro Fire Chief Brandon Brown reminds residents that as part of the Beautification Project, once a structure has been taken down it is required by the owner of the property to clean up the area of all debris and remnants from the fire.
