Chris H. Robinson
August 28, 1962 – July 6, 2022

chris robinsonA Celebration of Life for Chris Harrison Robinson, 59, of Langhorne PA, will be held at McDonald Baptist Church in Jonesboro, La., Saturday, July 16th , at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Mike McNatt officiating.

Chris was born August 28th, 1962, in Jonesboro, Louisiana, to William E. (Billy) and Barbara Robinson of Jonesboro, La. He passed away from complications from a Glioblastoma brain tumor on July 6th, 2022, at Nazareth Hospice Unit in Philadelphia. He was diagnosed five weeks before with the brain tumor.

Chris worked for the paper mill in Jonesboro for 10 years. He then moved to Pennsylvania and worked for Delta Specialty Paper in New Jersey as Supervisor.

He loved riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and loved traveling with friends and family. He loved seeing his grandson riding a sheep in the rodeo in Fort Worth, TX.

Chris was preceded in death by his Dad, William (Billy) Robinson, his sister, Lora Ann Robinson, and daughter, Mary Morgan.

Chris is survived by his wife, Rebecca Ann Miller Robinson; mother, Barbara Robinson Stringer and husband, Bill; daughter, Heather Butler and husband Jack; grand-daughter, Sophia; son, Mitchell Robinson and wife, Kalee; and grandsons, Cason and Cage. Chris is also survived by grand-daughters, Malia, Karli and Lily as well as a host of family and friends. He will be truly missed by many.

Kitty Karen Wilson
September 27, 1946 – July 9, 2022

obit picKitty Karen Wilson of Hodge, Louisiana passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Autumn Leaves Nursing Home in Winnfield, Louisiana.

Miss Kitty was born September 27, 1946 to Leon and Louise (Upshaw) Willis in Hodge, Louisiana. She worked at Louisiana Tech until she retired. Miss Kitty enjoyed spending time with her twin sister, Wanda. She loved her cats and her dog, Baby.

She is survived by her son, David Earl Wilson & wife Angella of Sikes, Louisiana; grandchildren, Lauren King Aucoin (Phil), Jeffery King, and Will King all of Jonesboro, Louisiana, Jesse Wilson of Verda, Louisiana, Eric Wilson & wife Ashley of Joyce, Louisiana, Gus & Annabel Wilson of Sikes, Louisiana; great-grandchildren, Stetson Wilson, Scarlett Kate, Charlie, Vera and Lennon Aucoin; brother, Gary Willis of Quitman, Louisiana; sister, Wanda Carnaghan of Hodge, Louisiana; and loving friend Sandy Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kathey Ann King; and sister, Sharrion Lagail Thomas.

Ed Michaud
November 26, 1940 – July 2, 2022

edEd Michaud was born on November 26, 1940 to Henry and Mary Michaud in Hodge, LA and died in Oklahoma City on July 2, 20222 at 81. Ed graduated as a commissioned Air Force Officer from Louisiana Tech University and served five years of service in the air Force as a navigator, earning the Outstanding Athlete award in his navigator class. He was awarded the air Medal for his missions flown in Vietnam.

Sharing stores from his years of service brought him great joy. After his military service he became a successful insurance salesman and Medicare advisor. Ed was a letterman on the LA Tech golf team and continued to love and play the game the rest of his life. He was also very involved in coaching and refereeing soccer games. The National Intercollegiate Soccer Officials Association, of which he was a member, honored him with several awards of outstanding service to the sport. He was inducted into the Oklahoma Soccer Association Hall of Fame in 2014.

Ed was a strong Christian. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and they looked forward to his big hugs and kind words. His grandchildren loved their fun-filled days with him. He also loved working in his yard. OU and OKC Thunder have lost one of their greatest fans. A memorable moment from one of Ed’s last days with us was when we were talking with him about the new Top Gun movie. He responded by saying the word “Maverick” in a strong, matter-of-fact reply. This word describes Ed Michaud well. He was a force to be reckoned with, strong in his beliefs, and he did everything with conviction.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Jackie Michaud, Pete Michaud, and Lorne Michaud.

Survivors include wife, Brenda Carpenter Michaud; sons Mark Michaud (Stephanie) of OKC: Dean Michaud (Lisa) of Norman, OK; daughter, Sharla Sullivan (Michael) of Spring, TX; grandchildren, Taylor Franklin (Ryan); Jenae Miller (Logan) ; Melanie, Brandon, and Ryan Michaud; Andrew and Holly Sullivan; sister Mary Ellen Briehn (Donnie) of Bossier, LA; brother Carroll Michaud (Gwen) of Shreveport, LA; and brother Andre Michaud (Diane) of Houston, TX.

A memorial service will be held on July 16, 2022 at 11:00 am at Candlewood Chapel at Ford Funeral Service.
