Another one bites the dust! Or rather it should be said the abandoned dwelling located at 313 Qualls Street was turned into dust (and ashes) by the Jonesboro Fire Department in the continuation of the Beautification of Jonesboro Project.
With sunny skies dominating most every day over the last several weeks the project has been moving forward in rapid fashion with unsightly and unsafe structures being brought down all over Jonesboro. To have a dwelling, building or structure burned simply call the Jonesboro City Hall at 318-259-2385.
Jonesboro Fire Chief, Brandon Brown, reminds all who participate in the project that as part of the agreement to have a structure burned it is the responsibility of the owner to remove all debris left over from the fire from the property. Failure to do so results in owner being subject to fines and penalties.
