If you didn’t already know how to get there, you won’t be any difficulty in finding Jonesboro-Hodge Elementary this coming school year. That is because of the large welcome sign that has been erected showing direction to the campus.
The sign was one of the last projects outgoing principal Rhonda Lee saw through before taking over as Instructional Supervisor for Child Welfare & Attendance at the Jackson Parish School Board. Assisting in the effort was 4-H sponsor Angela Shows and made possible through donations received from the Jonesboro State Bank Pledge 10 Grant.
“We would like to extend a big thank you to Calvin Wortham, Director of Public Works for the Town of Jonesboro, along with Warren Bradley and the Public Works team for playing a significant role in making this happen,” said Lee. “This sign will add a sense of pride to the community in which the school resides.”
