
The Northeast Louisiana High School Anglers Tour has announced the 2022-23 Tournament Schedule. Locations of regular season events include Caney Lake, Ouachita River, Lake D’Arbonne, Lake Bruin, Lake Claiborne. Lake D’Arbonne will also host the Student Angler Federation (SAF) Jr. State Championship and High School State Championship with the season ending Top Ten Championship to be at a location that will be announced at a later date.
Tournament fee for teams, which comprise of two people, are:
$50.00 per tournament ($300.00 total) if paid in full at the beginning of the season
$75.00 per tournament ($450.00 total) if paying by tournament
Tournament fees include competition for big bass.

September 24 – Lake D’Arbonne
January 14 – Lake Bruin
February 11 – Lake Claiborne
*March 18 – Lake D’Arbonne (SAF Jr. State Championship
*March 19 – Lake D’Arbonne (SAF High School State Championshp)
*April 8 – Caney Lake
*April 22 – Top Ten Championship (at location to be determined)

QHS team of Duck and Davis take 7th at Red River Big Bass Classic
With a 15 bass stringer that weighed 28.23 lbs., Hayden Davis and Maddox (Polecat) Duck from Quitman High School, took 7th place at the 1st annual High School Bass Classic on the Red River that was held July 15-17. Maddox Williams of Saline and Eddie Hyatt Jr., representing Lakeside High School, took top honors with a stringer of 38.33 lbs. as well as winning the Big Bass competiton with a 5.12 lb lunker. Five
