Jonesboro-Hodge Elementary is proud to announce a community partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Jonesboro and Pine Belt Center. Principal, Danielle Copeland, and Assistant Principal, Mr. Jacob Barron had the privilege of meeting with Ms. Vetta and Mr. Ellis with BGC to discuss after-school tutoring, transportation, and upcoming events.
“We are a partnership with Jackson Parish Schools and we want to keep the lines of communication open with our schools. Students know the expectations at school are the same at BGC,” Ms. Alvetta Thompson, Unit Director.
JHES is also blessed to have received a $1,100 check to help fund backpack meals for Wraparound services.
“I explained to Mrs. Conchita our school needs and she did not hesitate to help, these are the community partnerships we need,” Danielle Copeland, Principal.
