The last time that that Tydre Malone, Jay Lewis and Justin Calahan was on the same football field for a game was when the Tigers battled in the Class AA state semifinals last November. That is until last Saturday. The three that led JHHS to memorable heights held a reunion of sorts when Kilgore Junior College and Southern University in Shreveport (SUSLA) played against each other in Kilgore. Malone completed 17 of 34 passes for 354 yards and two TD’s, including a couple to Lewis for SUSLA but it was Calahan’s 13th ranked Kilgore team that won the day, taking a 65-12 victory.
