It is another great example of someone who was educated in Jackson Parish moving on to be an outstanding professional and benefit to others in another location. The latest addition the long list of acheivers is Brandy Tyler Roberson, who recently was named the Ruston Elementary Teacher of the Year for 2022-23. Roberson, who was raised in Weston, is the daughter of Barbara Simms Johns and her husband Donald. Congratulations, Brandy!
