The Jackson Parish School Board will consider adopting a resolution ordering and calling an election to be held on April 29, 2023, in Consolidated School District No. 1 of the Parish of Jackson to authorize the continuation of an ad valorem tax. The discussion will take place during the regularly scheduled monthly meeting to be held at 11:00am on Monday, January 9th in the meeting room of the Central Office located at 315 Pershing Hwy.
Also on the agenda for the first meeting of the year is the decision to appoint Kristi Bass to serve on the Jackson Parish Sales Tax Board and to approve the 2022-2023 Pupil Progression Plan Addendum. Adoption of recommendations by the Executive Finance and Building/Grounds Committee that will meet before the general session will also be considered.
